BREAKFAST + BRUNCH

PROVISIONAL KITCHEN

Located Downtown, inside the Pendry hotel. The dining room is very glam with high columns, a gorgeous chandelier, and a Moët vending machine! Mimosa flights and breakfast pizza always win me over.

BREAKFAST REPUBLIC

Multiple locations in San Diego. They offer both beer and kombucha flights as well as specialty bloody mary's. Their food menu is so appealing that I always have a hard time picking just one thing! I love the shrimp + grits, the breakfast sandwich, and the benedicts!

BROCKTON VILLA

Located in La Jolla and has an amazing view of the La Jolla cove. Their food was amazing, but they don't start serving alcohol until 11am so I didn't have the chance to try their mimosas.. (next time!). Scout tip: I recommend uber-ing if possible as parking near here is very limited (& then you can fully enjoy your brunch beverages!)

JAKE'S DEL MAR

Located in Del Mar, right on the beach. They offer a variety of typical brunch food with a mix of seafood options. They even have POG mimosas (that's Passion Orange Guava!!) and they are delicious.

FARMER'S TABLE

Farmer's Table has 3 locations in San Diego (Little Italy, Bay Park, and La Mesa). Amazing bloody mary's with all kinds of toppings and super cute decor. Scout tip: I asked for the breakfast sandwich on brioche which was a game changer!

PARKHOUSE EATERY

Located in University Heights. Mimosa flights with 8 different flavors to choose from to create your flight. Food pictured is the Cowboy Benedict, Breakfast Pizza, & PH Benedict

MORNING GLORY

Located in Little Italy. The decor is stunning and they have a Moet vending machine! They don't take reservations and it's generally a long wait so be prepared! It's a beautiful atmosphere, great coffee, and good drinks. The food was mediocre, in my opinion, but would go back just to look at the decor.

FIREHOUSE

Located in Pacific Beach, right by the ocean. Scout Tip - make a reservation for rooftop seats! Ocean views, live DJ, and bottomless mimosas.

THE SHORES

Located in La Jolla, right on the beach. Recommend the mimosa and margarita flights.

CRUSHED

Located in Pacific Beach and known for it's amazing mimosa flights! It's a great brunch spot with an expansive food menu.

WEST COAST TAVERN

Located in North Park. I am a sucker for chicken and waffles and West Coast Tavern offers a delicious plate! I was especially impressed by their drink menu, which includes bottomless mimosas and bloody marys!

BRIANS 24

Located downtown. Brians 24 is a cute spot with a fun menu! They have 'cereal killer' lattes which were delicious and the decor is filled with fun, cheeky quotes and pictures

RUSTIC ROOT

Located in Gaslamp - also featured on my Lunch & Dinner page because their food is THAT good. I love their brunch cocktails, espcially the frosé and their avocado toast was fancy af. Also, who doesn't want to brunch on a rooftop!?

EGGIES

Locations in East Village, Liberty Station, and Pacific Beach. This is a great casual spot for breakfast on the go. I tried the 'What Came First?' (BOMBBBB) and the french toast in a jar (unbelievably yummy!)

SON OF A TOAST

Located in North Park - this is the spot to go for all the boujee toasts! They also have other items on their menu but I can't pass up a fancy avocado toast.

COCINA DE BARRIO

Located in Hillcrest. I cannot even describe how delicious this french toast was - it was incredible! And the popsicle margaritas are such a fun brunch drink!

Located in Bird Rock and is a great option for brunch, happy hour, or dinner! I went for brunch and enjoyed the Beaumont's benedict which is served on a cheddar herb biscuit.. (YUM!!!) and a mimosa flight.

BEAUMONT'S

BREAKFAST COMPANY

Located in Gaslamp. Breakfast Company has the option to make flight from their french toast, waffle, and pancake options! The mashed potato waffle is a MUST. And, they have a great selection of beverages.

HERRINGBONE

Located in La Jolla and is a very classy type of brunch spot. Bottomless mimosas and rosé! Herringbone has a gorgeous interior, with equally as good vibes with live music.

BUB'S

Two locations in town - Downtown (Bubs @ The Ballpark) and Pacific Beach (Bubs @ The Beach). I love going here for brunch during football season! They have a create-your-own bloody mary bar and a menu full of goodies, including several varieties of loaded tots!

THE MED

Located in La Jolla at the La Valencia hotel. California coastal cuisine overlooking the Pacific Ocean. The whole hotel is an instagramable opportunity.

CRACKHEADS

Located in Carlsbad. This is a great outdoor spot with a bar, yummy eats, and coffee! The loaded tots were my fave!

HASH HOUSE A GO GO

The first time I had Hash House A Go Go was in Las Vegas, but the original one is right here in San Diego (in Hillcrest)! The Andy's Famous Sage Fried Chicken Benedict is TO DIE for and could feed a small family - HUGE portion sizes!

ROYALE

Located in Ocean Beach - decorated with neon signs and a fully operational juke box! The fried chicken biscuit sandwich was amazing.

ALCE 101

Located in Solana Beach. Farm-to-table meets Southwest and filled with unique decor and menu items, like a cold brew and tequila cocktail.

MISS B'S COCONUT CLUB

Located in Mission Beach. They have a bunch of fun drinks on the menu and indoor/outdoor seating.

NOLITA HALL

Located in Little Italy. It's the perfect place for watching football on Sunday Funday. They have an updating arrivals board and you can see the planes fly overhead!

FIG TREE CAFE

Locations in Liberty Station and Pacific Beach. The food here is SO GOOD. I am drooling just thinking about it. They also have a huge selection of drinks including mimosa flights, coffees, and extravagant bloody mary's.

PALMYS

Located in Pacific Beach. This is probably the best breakfast burrito I've ever had. Their coffee is delicious too.

CAFE 21

Cafe 21 has locations in downtown and University Heights. Their menu is inspired by Azerbaijan culture and is filled with amazing dishes and teas!

RHYTHM CHICKEN & WAFFLES

Located in Pacific Beach. The name says it all - they have delicious chicken & waffles! It's a walk up window and I recommend taking your food to the beach or Kate Sessions park!

THE HENRY

Located in Coronado, The Henry is a great spot for coffee or brunch! I loved the Go North coffee, truffle fries, and chicken avocado salad!

BREAKFAST & BUBBLES

Located in Hillcrest. This is the ultimate girl's brunch spot! The decor is phenomenal and they have upbeat fun music while you enjoy cocktails & brunch!
