Feelin' Lucky?🍀

St Patrick's Day has a special place in my heart for two reasons. 1) I'm Irish and 2) I moved to San Diego St Patrick's weekend in 2017. I love any celebration of culture and heritage and San Diego has a lot of ways to celebrate this festive holiday!

St Patricks Day Parade & Festival - This happens every year and is a great family friendly event! The festival takes place in Balboa park and the parade travels down surrounding streets. At the festival there are a variety of vendors from food to crafts to music.

ShamROCK Music + Beer Festival - This celebration occurs in downtown, in the Gaslamp district. The event is open to all ages but does require tickets. There are several stages that feature live musical performances, Irish dancing lessons, food & drink (including the popular green beer!)

St Paddy's OBeach Party - A two day event (tickets required) in Ocean Beach. This party is offering giveaways for the first 500 guests each day, a 5k 'fun run' on the beach, games like 'Lucky Charms flip cup and leprechaun limbo', live music, and more!

Bar Crawls - several neighborhoods put on organized bar crawls for St Patrick's Day. If you Google 'St Patrick's Day Bar Crawl San Diego' you'll come up with some fun options! Gaslamp, Pacific Beach, and University Heights are a few I know of!

The Luck O' Loma St. Patrick's Day Block Party - a dog friendly event with DJs, food vendors, games, and green beer.
